Let me start by saying that I AM A TEA DRINKER! I’ve loved drinking hot tea since I was a child. Back then I would just drink black tea with milk or lime juice (back when I was on dairy). Such a novice =D. But now I am in the magical world of plants and herbal tea! I drink herbal tea everyday and my body loves it!
Below I share a short list of herbs that I’ve used for tea and supplements; as well as a few recipes to get your creative juices going. It’s time to unleash the herbal mixologist within!
I suggest diving into the different herbs, trying them as an herbal tea, and see how your body responds. I have listed a few below, but there’s so much more to explore. Who knows, this may turn into a lifelong study for you!
Each vessel is different, so I encourage you to:
- Pick a few herbs you want to try.
- Research to see how it can help you.
- Blend 1-3 herbs for your tea and see how your body responds.
- Alter by removing or replacing any particular herb.
Please note that I am not a medical professional, so consult with one if you need to!
Step 1: Invest into a Tea Kettle with The Infuser!
This is the one I’ve been using (https://amzn.to/4aWrT4Q).
I’m able to make many cups from one brew.
Also I don’t need that many herbs to get to the potency needed!
The recipes below are specifically tailored for this kettle.
Many of the recipes below feature Elderberry, which is great for immunity support and gut health!
